Overview: Kahana Profiles

Your Kahana profile serves as a public-facing portfolio that showcases your accomplishments, work, and interests. It allows others to learn more about you by providing a centralized place to display all your public hubs and any relevant information about your activity on Kahana. Whether you're building free or monetized hubs, your profile makes it easy to share your work with others.

Key Features of Your Profile

Public Hubs

As you create public hubs on Kahana, they will automatically be displayed on your profile. This allows anyone who visits your profile to browse through all the public hubs you've created. You can share the link to your profile with anyone who may be interested in viewing your content, whether for learning, collaboration, or purchasing your paid hubs.

Profile Customization

When you first create an account, your profile may look fairly minimal. However, you can personalize it by:

    • Adding an Avatar: Choose a square PNG or JPG image as your profile picture to make your profile more recognizable.
    • Customizing Your Cover Photo: Upload a background photo or banner of your choice to reflect your personal style or branding.
    • Updating Your Bio: Write a brief description in your profile bio to introduce yourself, your work, and your interests. This can be helpful for others who are exploring your public hubs or considering collaboration.

Profile Metrics

Your profile also displays various stats and metrics that can help track your activity on Kahana. Some of the key metrics include:

    • Number of Public Hubs: Shows how many public hubs you've created and shared on Kahana.
    • Hub Views: Displays how many times your public hubs have been viewed, giving you insight into your reach and engagement.

How to Access and Edit Your Profile

To access your profile, click on your avatar in the top toolbar of Kahana or from the main dropdown menu ( settings/gear icon in the top right corner of your screen) and then click on the Edit Profile option to begin uploading or changing your avatar and cover photo, and update your bio to include relevant information about your work, interests, and the types of hubs you create.

Your profile is a dynamic and evolving space, growing as you continue to create and share new public hubs to showcase your work, research, artifacts, creations, and much more.
